Another patient couple waiting on their blog post at this ridiculously busy time of year...did I mention I just photographed five weddings in one week? A record for me! Sarah and Blake were married at Tarraleah in the central highlands. Last time I photographed a wedding at Tarraleah it snowed but the sun was shining on this hot wedding day! The bride got ready in the honeymoon suite at The Lodge while the boys spruced themselves up in one of the character cottages. How gorgeous are these kiddies? Love the ones of auntie and nephew jumping on the sofa! Caught Blake wipe a tear from his eye during the ceremony which was held outside overlooking World Heritage listed forests. Afterwards we trekked into some temperate rain forest which always photographs beautifully as light filters through the canopy of tall trees. Some portraits of this sweet family were taken among a bush in full yellow blooms. Sarah wanted some wedding party portraits in front of the Tarraleah sign at the old schoolhouse playground, which was a first for me but I think it worked well so thanks for the inspiration Sarah! I think the moments captured dancing are some of the best of this bunch, as well as the bridal bouquet and garter toss...what fun!!
