Tarraleah weddings are always a bit unique to photograph, in the middle of the wilderness surrounded by hairy, highland cows and colourful, Art Deco cottages. Carmen and Alton were pretty casual and relaxed as a couple on their big day. Rather than hiring a make-up artist, Carmen did her own with the help of a friend, and I got to step up and play hair stylist when the girls had a bit of trouble with the curling iron! Dear David Closs presided as celebrant over a quaint ceremony at the Highland Church, where a small gathering of close friends and relatives witnessed the couple's nuptials. Afterwards, we all braved the cold for portraits at various points of interest around the property on this wintry day. Then we headed inside The Lodge to check out the luxurious honeymoon suite, and over to The Edge to warm up by the cozy fire, where guests were happily enjoying cocktails while waiting to toast to Carmen and Alton's happiness!
